As seen on Green Wedding Shoes
We have ALL the whimsical color for you today! Jaime of Wild Heart Events was inspired by Wes Anderson’s “Moonrise Kingdom” to create a laid-back outdoor dinner-and-a-movie sleepover gathering at the Trailer Pond. This intimate venue is a private and relaxing vintage trailer camp spot on 130 acres of organically-farmed vines at Alta Colina in Paso Robles, California.
Knife + Fork curated a beautiful (and delicious) menu befitting the autumn atmosphere, including a pre-dinner picnic complete with charcuterie and cheese board and wine from Alta Colina. Harvest veggies with local snapper was served as the main course, with a pear and apple crostata topped with spiced whipped cream for dessert.
Dinner was followed by an alfresco movie night featuring (what else?) “Moonrise Kingdom,” projected on the side of one of the Trailer Pond’s vintage trailers. Movie-goers munched popcorn and snuggled on lounge furniture provided by Avenue Twelve.
We had such a blast getting creative with this dream team! Here are some of our fave images from the day.
