Simpson House Inn wedding

Savannah and Sam celebrated their picturesque Simpson House Inn wedding in September in Santa Barbara.

The Bay Area-based couple hosted 125 of their friends and family at this hidden gem bed and breakfast, just a few blocks from downtown Santa Barbara. Simpson House is a Victorian-era property tucked behind tall hedges on Arellaga Street, converted into a bed and breakfast in the 1980s and designated a historic landmark in 1992.

For the weekend, Sam and Savannah reserved the entire property at Simpson House. They wanted their closest family and friends to be able to stay together on-site. Savannah stepped into her custom, drop-waist Floure wedding gown in the Hayloft Suite, assisted by her mother and sister. She later changed into a fun, tea-length blue party dress for the dance floor!

Florist Annie of Best Day Ever Floral Design decorated the ceremony and reception in bright arrangements of orange, pink, and peach (with a little extra pop of yellow). The tangerine floral dishware from Theoni Collection was a perfect complement to the Essex stripe linens from BBJ La Tavola. Family-styled dinner service was provided by Seasons Catering, while Rori’s Artisanal Creamery was ready to scoop ice cream in lieu of cake!

The beautiful garden setting of Simpson House Inn is intimate, lush, and perfect for an early autumn wedding weekend.

Without further ado, a few images from Savannah and Sam’s Simpson House Inn wedding day.
