Santa Ynez ranch wedding at Whispering Rose Ranch

As seen on Style Me Pretty Rachel and Matt first met in high school and their love story began with passed notes left in lockers and on car windshields. As the years passed, this sweet couple continued to send each other notes in college, and now, after over nine years together, they still write notes for birthdays and anniversaries. They’ve even kept their earliest love letters to each other! The romance game is strong for these two. I mean, their first date was junior prom. They’re the definition of “high school sweethearts.” Those darling hints of romance were woven through to the wedding itself, with lush blooms by Lark Farnum Design and the serene setting of Whispering Rose Ranch. The bride chose rose gold accents (which also matched the mini copper Moscow mule mugs that doubled as wedding favors for guests) and opted for some pops of pretty blue at the reception tables. Matt and Rachel were both in tears throughout the ceremony (and Matt teared up during the couple’s first look, which is ALWAYS my favorite!); it was a very sweet, genuine, emotional day.
