Santa Barbara elopement

When they decided to keep their wedding on the low-key side, Josie and Brennan chose to host their intimate ceremony at the iconic Santa Barbara Courthouse. They scheduled a civil ceremony at the Hall of Records, invited only their immediate families, and made it official on a beautiful spring morning in stunning Santa Barbara.

The Fashion

Brides to be, if you’ve envisioned wearing a veil or a long train on your wedding day, an elopement or scaled-back celebration doesn’t mean you have to abandon this dream! Josie didn’t want a big wedding, but she still wanted to bring the drama with a long dress and flowy veil (so she did!).

Sweet couples like Josie and Brennan make me so happy to be a Santa Barbara elopement photographer. Their families were so kind, so group photos were actually such a treat! A day like this one for Josie and Brennan is focused on connection, intention, and slowing down to enjoy and appreciate every moment with your loved ones and with each other.
