I remember sitting down at my best friend’s kitchen table in San Francisco to Skype with Megan and Danny. I was in the Bay Area to photograph Lindsay and Curt’s wedding, but wanted to make time to connect with these two — I could tell right away that we’d be an awesome fit and I was SO excited to chat with them.
Their engagement session in Big Sur just two months after that first Skype date was EPIC, and their wedding at Galway Downs in Temecula six months later was definitely a highlight of this year’s wedding season.
I blogged their engagement photos in December last year, feeling worn down from the 2016 wedding season that had just wrapped, and as I’m writing THIS blog post, I am texting with Megan about how my next Saturday off isn’t until six weeks away. We’re talking about her gorgeous wedding video from Emma Lynn Cinema (check it out at the end of this post!) and how she and Danny will be up in my direction sometime soon for a camping trip. She asked if we’re still busy with weddings right now (versus a little off-season break), and with a big sigh, I told her yes, but I can’t really complain, because I have the best job EVER (in my humble opinion).
And that’s mostly because this gig affords me the incredible luxury of meeting incredible people like Megan and Danny. I adore these two humans and their wedding day! Check out some of my faves.
