One of my favorite weddings this year was Chris and Rhiannon’s big day at Clarke Estate, located in Santa Fe Springs in Southern California. The couple hosted a joyous, fun, DIY-filled wedding celebration in a neutral color palette of tan, cream, and grey with festive pops of bright coral. They chose the private garden venue Clarke Estate, and their beautiful day was recently featured on wedding blog Ruffled, as well!
Rhiannon and Chris really wanted a classy, romantic, and comfortable celebration. The groom, Chris, really got into the spirit of wedding DIY by designing the wedding invitations (one of his groomsmen helped with the programs), making reception centerpieces out of reclaimed wood pallets, and helping with the vintage window pane seating chart! Rhiannon noted that taking on so many DIY projects was definitely time-consuming, but worth the effort knowing their decor choices were totally unique and exactly what they’d envisioned.
Chris and Rhiannon’s ceremony recessional was “All You Need is Love” by The Beatles, and the happy couple shared their first dance as husband and wife to Ray LaMontagne’s “You Are the Best Thing.” Music choices were on point!
Enjoy just a small selection of Clarke Estate wedding photos from this lovely day, and be sure to check out the feature on Ruffled for all the juicy details!
