Courtney and Colin kept things beautifully simple for their San Francisco City Hall wedding, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. They chose to celebrate in a way that felt personal and true to them: a quiet civil ceremony surrounded by just their immediate families.
The day began at the iconic Fairmont San Francisco, where Courtney and Colin got ready separately before sharing private vows on the rooftop after doing a “first look.” It just the two of them, no audience, no rush.
We made our way to San Francisco City Hall, where the grandeur of the Beaux-Arts architecture made the intimate ceremony feel all the more special. With soft November light pouring through the windows, they exchanged vows again in front of their families.
After the ceremony, we took advantage of the building’s stunning staircases, archways, and golden light for portraits. Outside, a handful of friends were waiting to greet the newlyweds with cheers and a celebratory toast on the front steps. It was an effortless, joyful transition from ceremony to celebration.
Dinner followed at Wayfare Tavern, tucked away in a private dining room upstairs where the group gathered for a cozy evening of good food, wine, and warm conversation.
