Julia and Drew fell in love with the idea of a Sunstone Villa wedding from over 2,000 miles away. The bride, who is a wedding florist in Tennessee, knew she preferred a quiet elopement with just her husband-to-be. When they saw Sunstone Villa on social media, it seemed like the obvious choice to start planning their trip to central California’s wine country.
So, in late spring, the couple flew in from their home just outside Nashville and eloped in Santa Ynez. No guests, just the two of them, a bottle of champagne, and the cutest little cake for two from Lele Patisserie.
Julia did her own hair and makeup and stepped into her dress inside the villa, then met Drew on the balcony for a quiet first look. They read their vows to each other in front of a floral arch Julia designed herself, with vineyard views stretching out behind them.
Albeit a little windy, it was the perfect intimate Sunstone Villa wedding for these two.
