Shannon and Kevin’s Beauregard-Keyes House wedding was such a delightful celebration of this lovely couple; they adore each other, and also wanted to have the BEST DAY EVER with family and friends. Their rose garden ceremony was followed by a second line parade through the French Quarter — it was SO much fun to be part of this New Orleans tradition!
Despite not meeting in person until the day before their wedding, we bonded instantly — Shannon and Kevin are warm, welcoming, genuine, and joyful. We actually had a bit of a fumble with their first look — Kevin confused his arrival time and pulled up to the venue the same time as Shannon, so when I came out of the BK House to usher Shannon inside, they were already together! But neither of them minded in the slightest, as seeing each other put them both at ease; we transitioned easily into portraits of the two of them around the venue and the French Quarter, and I was a little mesmerized by their love (so very cheesy, but seriously true).
I’m also ALWAYS going to remember Shan and Kev’s anniversary, because that evening, after he stopped by the venue to walk me back to our hotel, my now-fiancé Jeremy proposed to me! I was SO surprised and it was the perfect conclusion to this perfect day.
I’m so thankful to Vanessa Noel Events for introducing me to the new Mr. and Mrs. Carlson!
