As seen on Martha Stewart Weddings
Katherine and Scott’s Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm wedding was some serious berry-hued summertime magic! With Wild Heart Events at the helm and Siren Floral Co. bringing ALL the colorful blooms, this greenhouse wedding was quite the memorable affair.
K+S met in college while studying abroad in Prague (also where they got engaged years later!). Katherine, originally from Santa Barbara, knew they’d want to come to California for their wedding day (the couple currently resides in Chicago), and the ocean view from the Dos Pueblos bluff was the perfect setting to welcome their nearest and dearest to the west coast.
When it came to design inspiration for the reception, the couple wanted to achieve the look of an elevated garden party. Summery stone fruits were the starting point for the mauve, dusty pink, deep red, and raspberry color palette, and the talented Siren Floral Co. used a variety of garden roses, berry foliage, and dahlias to bring color to the ceremony and reception spaces.
It was such a joy to work with this incredible bride and groom, all-star vendor team, and plentiful variety of gorgeous design details (my fave)! Check out all the pretty below AND over on Martha Stewart Weddings!
