As seen on Wedding Chicks
Amy and Justin’s luxurious yet modern wedding celebration at the Four Seasons in Santa Barbara was one of our all-time faves. Lindsey of Magnolia Event Design did a fabulous job working with the couple to design and style their stunning celebration, and Amy and Justin’s love for each other and laid-back California vibes were the central themes of the day. Justin teared up when Amy came down the aisle with her dad at their church ceremony, and that’s always the highlight of any wedding ceremony.
When these two first met, they took it slow. For months they just texted each other, until Amy asked Justin to come “rescue” her from a guy at a dive bar (the same one where they’d first met through mutual friends). When Justin showed up, Amy told us, “I grabbed his hand and told him to pretend to be my boyfriend. He grabbed it tight and I knew I never wanted to let go. We’ve been hand holders ever since.” THE SWEETEST!
Justin is originally from Kansas and is always reminding Amy to appreciate sunsets and walks on the beach, so a wedding on the coast made perfect sense for them. Their outdoor reception on La Pacifica Terrace at the Four Seasons was pretty jaw-dropping, with bright marigold garland curtains by Rockrose Floral Design — just wait until you see!
