We’re not sure there is anything more delightful than a Four Seasons celebration brimming with tropical wedding ideas.
Unless, of course, you’re talking about this particular bride and groom.
Stew and Alex love to laugh, drink wine, and listen to records in their Greenwich Village apartment. Although both originally from the San Francisco Bay area, they didn’t meet until they were both living in New York (through a mutual friend, Carter, who officiated the wedding!). They were just friends for a few years before Stew made his move, and they moved in together six months after they started dating (they adorably said of the progression of their relationship, “guess you call it a New York minute…”).
While settling into their new place, Alex and Stew ordered a couch that didn’t come for three months, so they put their bed in the living room and lived like John Lennon and Yoko Ono until the arrival of their new furniture. Their home is now decked out with mementos from their travels, including photography from Cuba and additions to their record collection from all over the United States.
Palm Springs (another of the couple’s favorite travel destinations) inspired the design for their modern tropical decor at the classically timeless Four Seasons Biltmore Resort in Santa Barbara. Katie coordinated everything like a boss (as usual), and Jaime outdoes himself with killer floral design every. single. time.
So many favorites. We laughed with them, we cried with them, we adore them. And OMG, check out the father-daughter first look. It’s magic.
Happy perusing! And here’s more to enjoy with Sarah + Mel’s wedding at Four Seasons!
