As seen in Flutter Magazine.
It would be easy to assume that Ashley and Tyler’s wedding was so special because I was gifted the opportunity to travel to Barcelona to photograph their day. Shooting in Spain was definitely a dream; I’m not going to lie about how incredible an experience that was for me. Casa Felix, the 12th-century masia where the couple hosted their big day, is an incredible venue; the hills of Olivella, just outside Sitges, is a picturesque setting (to put it mildly).
But then I met Ashley in person, and soon thereafter, I also met Tyler and their fur baby, Penny the poodle. And I fell in love with this sweet family and I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to be chosen to document their wedding. They could’ve gotten married on the side of the road in the bowels of Los Angeles, and I still would have been elated to be present.
I had to break this blog post into two parts, because I simply couldn’t narrow down the selection of images any further — I’m too in love with their beautiful day and their love for each other.
Also, Felicia and I explored Casa Felix a bit the day before the wedding, and we found some amazing old documents, maps, and letters sent to the masia. It was such an incredible, authentic touch for some of our detail shots — we were so excited.
