Nicole and Nathan were introduced to me by the lovely Carrie of Pure Lavish Events; they are so fun and laid back, and when we had to change the location of our Santa Ynez engagement session VERY last minute due to venue closure, they took it in stride. They were perfectly happy taking photos on the side of the (very beautiful) road in the hills of Santa Ynez.
These two have such a sweet love story (Nathan’s first love letter to Nicole was handwritten on a mirror, and he proposed to her in the same way; she has traveled to Montana to meet his family, and they love to travel and enjoy good food together). I also just did a walk-through with Nicole at their wedding venue, Mattei’s Tavern, and it’s going to be a VERY fun day (they selected November 11, and are planning a reception toast for 11:11 p.m.!).
Nicole and Nathan made this Santa Ynez engagement session look effortless (which, let’s face it, it really was — their comfort with each other in front of the camera made my job REAL easy).
